Terms and conditions

1. All transactions are in pounds sterling.
2. Delivery method is Royal Mail, Parcel Force or by a courier/freight service as appropriate (Airmail for overseas unless requested otherwise by customer).
3. UK Delivery
   We will aim to despatch goods within 7 days
4. Christmas Deadlines
   Please send your orders as early as possible, but to be placed no later than:
   United Kingdom ~ 20th December 2007 (last dispatch date for 1st class).
   Europe, Channel Islands & Eire ~ 13th December 2007
   USA ~ 10th December 2007
   Rest of the World ~ 7th December 2007
   After any of the above dates please contact us, as special delivery may be available at a surcharge.
5. Damaged goods must be returned within 14 days for refund or replacement to Christmas Cottage.
6. All goods are subject to availability.
7. The prices of the goods for sale remain valid until such a time that they are changed on this website. Any goods ordered will be charged at the price quoted on the website at the time the order was placed.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

In the unlikely event that any of your goods arrive damaged or faulty we will arrange a refund or replacement for you, and reimburse the cost of returning the item if we have requested it back. We hope that you will be delighted with all the goods you receive, but if for any reason you are dissatisfied, simply return the item(s) unused and in saleable condition within seven working days for a full refund. Please note that in these cases we do not reimburse postage costs and that we are unable to accept returns of personalised items, jewellery or perishables unless they are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please contact us for a reference number before returning anything

Availability

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will let you know as soon as we can. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time. In these circumstances you will be advised.

Descriptions

While we have made every effort to show and describe our products as accurately as possible, in rare cases the final product may differ slightly from the images shown.
We have tried to describe all products fairly and the weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown.

Delivery

Shipping within the UK

• Orders are normally despatched within 7 working days.
• A flat rate postage and packaging rate of £5.00 is charged on all UK orders.
• Express 48hr Delivery: UK Mainland Only - Orders must be received before noon, weekday despatches only, (no weekend delivery)
• For Express 48hr delivery add £6.00. Please note this is charged on top of normal delivery costs.
• Free carriage to UK in the first week of each year.

EU Countries

• Regardless of the size of the order please add £15 post and packing for orders going to any EU country.
• Republic of Ireland add £10

The Rest of the World

• Due to the huge variation in shipping costs to different countries we will quote the postage charge via email after the order has been received. This must then be accepted and confirmed before the order is despatched.
• Orders will not be accepted if the delivery address is for a different country to one where the order was initiated and the payment card details are registered.
