. Frankincense and Myrrh are products of several different species of tree found in various parts of the Far and Middle East. Frankincense was regarded as a precious substance, and was used in the rites of many religions as well as for medicinal purposes. Myrrh also had widespread medicinal use, and was particularly associated with the embalming process. Both have become famous since Biblical times as being two of the gifts that the three Wise Men bought to Christ in Bethlehem. Today, these oils can be used in aromatherapy burners to scent the air with their distinctive aromas. 8.5x7x2cm
